Hip Hop fans at a concert in Dakar, Senegal. In the summer of 2013 I explored hiphop culture in Dakar following a group of young men known as the BFX crew. With a lack of jobs and increasing poverty in the slums many youth are turning to hip hop as an outlet for their frustration with the system and to give voice to their politics.
