Congratulations on having your submission accepted to the Image Story. Please review the below requirements for your contribution.
Image Requirements:
1600 px wide (minimum) image for submission
520 px wide (minimum) portrait for inclusion in photographer bio
sRGB color space
JPG level 10 (PhotoShop) or 80% (Lightroom)
Written Requirements:
Please include information on ALL of the following sections. When writing about your image, keep in mind that the “why” is just as important or moreso than the “how” of the image.

The Story
Background:
What’s your background as a photographer? Describe the larger context of the image, including background on the shoot, preparation, goals, etc. Is there a certain way you approach making images in relation to how this image came to be?
The Scene:
Set the scene for the image and the shoot at large. What are we seeing? What drew you to this scene (or how did you create or modify it), what was the atmosphere like? Set the stage so we can understand the image.
Gear:
What role did the camera & lens and other gear play in making this image? What’s your philosophy for your camera kit?
Making the Shot:
When it came to make the shot, how did you execute this image, and perhaps more importantly, why? What were your goals or considerations for making a successful image? You can describe technical elements, composition, lighting, timing, etc.
Editing & Processing:
Take us through the editing/processing workflow for this image. Do you have a look or feel you try to achieve while processing images?
Looking Back:
Why did you choose this image? How does it express your style or succeed in what you were trying to achieve?
Advice:
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone who wants to make an image like this or shoot this genre of photography? Is there advice that has guided you’ve found important in your journey as a photographer?
